Japan industrialized because it opened itself to the west. South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong industrialized because they open themselves to Japan. China is industrializing because it open itself to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong.
In many way Ethiopian government investment is open to any country or investor and their diplomatic campaign is mainly about attracting investors. But so far failed to attract investors who can make meaningful economic difference because
A, There is no Japan factor in Horn of Africa for Ethiopia
B, There is no similar common national purpose, values system and culture of Far East nations in Ethiopia
C, The majority of Ethiopian population are resided far from Sea ports. China industrialization is happening by emigrating hundreds of millions of Chinese to the Eastern coastal areas. There is no industrialized city in our world that located over 300 kilometre away inland from sea or big rivers ports.
There is a similar common national purpose, values system and culture of Far East in Tigray and Eritrea. Many Tigray cities are less than 150 miles from Massawa port. Or 3.5 hours by normal old model cargo train.
Israel can be a Japan factor for Eritrea and Tigray. Only corporate profits and interests forced Japan to transfer its technology, science and modern management know how to its neighbours. But Israel reason to transfer its world number one technology, science and modern management know will be its long term existence as state depends on its security, on its economic growth and on how it can create strategic allies in Middle East.
The Ge’ez state has a lot to offer it in these issue for Israel. We can offer Israel military and intelligence helps because of our location, by combining our cheap labour, cheap raw material, strategic location with Israel world’s first class high tech economy, science, modern management know how, marketing skill, and distribution, customer service skill and highly educated work force we can create economic miracles in Eritrea, Tigray and Israel.
We can offer political and diplomatic help for Israel in international arena because like Israel the Ge’ez people nation-state has the some Orit heritage with Israel and we will never be members of the Arab League and The Islamic Conference because we are not Arabs and Islam. Without Israel Eritrea is doomed for permanent isolation in Red Sea, Middle East and The Horn of Africa. Except Amhara and Tigray other regions of Ethiopia have Muslim majority. The birth of the state of Israel is a gift of God to the Ge’ez people.
We must make visa free to travel, visa to live and to work for Israelis in Eritrea in order to transfer technology, science and modern management know how. This high- tech cheap labour manufacturing and research, development and innovation base economy will give a chance for Israel and Eritrea to dominate the Middle East and the Horn Africa economically for long time. Israel GDP can quadruple easily in 15 years by creating industries that manufacture the complicated and high tech components, design and research, and marketing and management industries while the nation-state the Ge’ez people can have an Africa’s biggest diverse and dynamic economy by creating industries that manufacture low tech components, heavy industries, assembly factories and distributing centres. In short like what were China and Germany economy or China and Japan Economy in the last 30 years that Germany and Japan companies were supplying China companies’ high tech and complicated components and machineries.
