Ethnic Cleansing

According Wikipedia ethnic cleansing is the systematic forced removal of ethnic or religious groups from a given territory by a more powerful group, with the intent it ethnically homogenous. The forces applied may be various forms of forced migration (deportation, population transfer) intimidation, as well as mass murder and rape.

PFDJ is real political objective is to create one national cultural identity among the nine Eritrean ethnics. The nine Eritrean ethnics have completely different social, cultural and economical background. The majority Tigrigna are farmers, herders and traders who have permanent villages. The minorities are nomads. The Tigrigna are indigenous people of Eritrea. The minority tribes and clans are immigrants. The Tigrigna are homogenous who have own alphabets and written indigenous laws. The minority are tribal and clannish. The Tigrigna are much richer than the ethnic minorities.

PFDJ see the Muslims as underdog and disadvantaged victims. The Tigrigna never invaded Muslim land in their history. The reality is Muslims had committed many war crimes and genocides against Tigrigna under Ahmad ibn Ibrahim Al-Ghazi know as “the Conqueror” and Ottoman-Turkey in 16 century, ደርቡሽ-Sudan, Egypt and Eritrean Liberation Front (ELF).

Those kidnapped then sold for ransoms, to be sex slaves, for organs harvest etc by Muslims in Sudan, Egypt, Libya etc are 100% Tigrigna. No one is beaded and slaved because he/she is Eritrean. They beaded and slaves as because we are not Muslims. According Mulubrhan Hagos who is judge in Eritrean high court and law lecturer in Asmara university that Eritrean Tigrigna women’s had more right and protection in ሕጊ እንዳ’ኣባ by seven articles than in PFDJ drafted laws. It means Tigrigna women’s are oppressed more in Eritrea now than they were 500 years ago. 

In PFDJ era Tigrigna women are the most disrespected, unprotected, neglected, abused and undervalued person in Eritrea. Former Eritrean National Women Association chairwomen and PFDJ central committee member Ms  Leul Gebreab live in open polygamy marriage. The majority PFDJ military officer have two to three Tigrigna wife’s often by exploitations, force and blackmail. Many middle and high ranking PFDJ military officer hold Tigrigna’s women’s as sex slaves who are in national service. Raping Tigrigna women is a normal practice for many PFDJ military and civilian officers.

Actually Tigrigna women is the cheapest women in world thanks to PFDJ aggressions. Our Tigrigna daughters, sisters and mothers etc are gang raped by PFDJ gangs, Arab Muslims and Africans on daily base. For first time in our history that significant number of out Tigrigna women’s forced to work as prostitute for living by PFDJ social engineering project in Eritrea, Sudan, Ethiopia, Middle East, Europe and other African countries. This is the lowest and darkest time of our history.

If you want to kill civilization first you destroy the women of that particular civilization first.  PFDJ is targeting Tigrigna women’s to destroy and humiliate us as civilization one forever to create new civilization called Eritrean national cultural identity among nine ethnics. what That’s why more than anything PFDJ targeted Tigrigna women’s first. This is a systematic ethnic cleansing. There was one Bar worker Muslim girl in Asmara in 1992 but she been send by Mohamed Sherifo and Alamin Gerewecha to Saudi Arabia because she is Muslim. But they were happy to spend night clubs and their sleeping times with teenager Tigrigna girls. There is no a single Muslim prostitute in Eritrea because Muslims girls are respected, protected and highly valued by the very sensitive Tigrigna and Muslim elite.

Sexualisation of Tigrigna school children been promoted by government summer programmes and national service. There is massive Tigrigna Teen pregnancy that started by PFDJ but there is no Muslim teen pregnancy problems in Eritrea. Tigrigna people never had social problems like children’s born in out lock sexual relationship before 1991. Over 90% Tigrigna children grow without father because either their fathers are in army, exile or their parents never wed. These social problems created deliberately to break up and destroy Tigrigna identity.

PFDJ believe the Tigrigna have responsibility to transform the tribal and clan ethnics life because they are economically better off and politically and culturally conscious. PFDJ style is Tigrigna nationalist but its substance/contains is radical universalist, internationalist and multiculturalists. Until 2000 PFDJ style was 100% Tigrigna nationalist. That’s why penetrated the Tigrigna people deeply. If it has to fulfil its universalist, internationalist and multiculturalists agenda that it has to weaken and destroy the stubborn Tigrigna people from Eritrea.

PFDJ school curriculum, foreign, media, cultural, economic , housing,  transport, health, tax policies are targeted to destroy Tigrigna nationalism and Tigrigna local patriotism. There is no nationalism of many nations/ethnics in definitions of political science. Eritrea is a nation-state of many nations that means Eritreanism is internationalism or universalism. There is no clearly defined what mean Eritrean identity because there are many ethnic identities there. In Eritrea to be Tigrigna nationalist or to be local patriotic is a serious crime called sub-nationalism. If you are framed Tigrigna sub-nationalist you will be shot automatically.

The Tigrigna people fabrics are family and village that own communal farming, forestry and residential land. First the indefinite military service made to have family impossible for Tigrigna or it make it impossible to sustain family life. Before 1991 about 99% Tigrigna use to marry and the overwhelming majority marriage use to lust until the end of their life. Today the majority Tigrigna men and women couldn’t marry or cannot sustain married life at all. Children born out locks are many. Teen pregnancy was unthinkable before PFDJ but now it is normal. Childless Tigrigna’s men and women’s are many. Many of Tigrigna girls rounded up for military service from countryside end up as prostitutes.  Eritrea is a sex tourist destination for many poor Sudanese and Eritrean Diaspora paedophiles that travel to exploit underage Tigrigna poor girls.

Before the Italians colonization there was no private land in Eritrea. The highlands lands use to be owned by Tigrigna villages while the malaria infested Eastern and Eastern lowland use to be owned by all Tigrigna villages for equal and free use. Italians confiscated few land for commercial farms but Italians and Haile Selasie never confiscate the entire land. PFDJ is the first to confiscate the entire land which created deep resentment of Tigrigna people against PFDJ.

Nationalizing of land had destroyed proud egalitarian ancient Tigrigna communities hope and future. But above all exiling is destroying fabrics of Tigrigna people. Hundreds of Tigrigna families had been vanished without any trace in Eritrea. Most Tigrigna villages are populated by lonely elderly people. The ancient identity, culture and value system of Tigrigna in exile it doesn’t pass one generation. Tigrigna has no identity and hope without its land and his community.

There was no a single Muslim village in Eritrea until 1991 that had over 60 families but today there hundreds of Muslim villages and settlements with thousands of families  who created by PFDJ.  There was no a Muslim neighbourhood in Asmara except the Muslim ghetto አኽሪያ but today many Asmara neighbourhoods are dominated by Muslims. Muslims use to be less that 3% of Eritrean army in 1992 but today they represent over 65%. It is the same trend in small businesses and civil services.

When I was joint EPLF in 1988 Tigre Muslim women were undressed above waist, women and men dance together etc. Today after un-presented expansion of education, health, social services etc by PFDJ almost every Tigre women is wear niqab and burqa, the traditional dancing together gone ect. When Muslims get educated and read Quran and understand properly start to fellow its guidance and became proper Muslim like Salafist and Whabbist. There is no that much difference between Taliban ruled Kabul and PFDJ ruled Keren, Hagaz, Teseney, Akurdet etc anymore that the real influence in both cities is Salafism. We know what happen to Buddhist, Christians, Shia’s and moderate Sunnis etc if they are under control of Salafist. Christian minority in Muslim countries live under fear, persecutions and terror by Muslim governments and Muslims religious institutions.

There is different laws and approaches in Eritrea. One for the Tigrigna and one is for Muslims. Our priests and deacon rounded up and send to military training while Muslim Shekis and Mederasa students exempted. Our Orthodox religion is micro managed and led by Tigrigna atheist and Muslim PFDJ cadres while Islam is left to blossom. PFDJ tolerate greatly Salafism, Whabism, Muslim brotherhood movement in Eritrea etc because it is believe that it is luck of consciousness and education. PFDJ doesn’t round up Muslim Eritreans especially Muslim women because it doesn’t offend them.

Every school, clinic, electrification and most dams in Tigrigna village funded and done  by villagers who live in Eritrea or exile. Since 1991 only two or three schools build in Asmara. The one school was built by Chinese government the rest was by neighbourhood contributions. There are many huge hidden cost in the so-called free education and health care service in Tigrigna areas like registration fee, uniform fee, text book fee, medication fee etc.

Significant number service men,  martyrs and poor children routinely get dismissed or suspended from schools because they couldn’t afford these huge hidden school fees.

Every school, clinic, electrifications and all dams in Muslim tribal and clan area is build by tax payers money and Tigrigna slave labour. There is no hidden cost in Muslim tribal and clan people. Additional to the free education and health care government provide free food, free clothing, free books, free medications etc for Muslim tribal and clan people.

Tigrigna youth and people are forced to leaving Eritrea by PFDJ state terrorism. Selling Tigrigna youth to Arab-Muslim smugglers is the most profitable business for PFDJ cadres. Many PFDJ cadres became dollar multimillionaires by selling Tigrigna youth. Our youth are kidnapped by Arab-Eritrean Muslims for ransom and organ harvest. Our youth body organs harvested and tens of millions paid as ransom by family members to Arab-Muslims to free their loved ones. Many Tigrigna male and female youth gang raped and tortured by Arab-Muslims. Thousands of Tigrigna youth executed by PFDJ gangs, Egyptian and Sundance government army. Thousands of Tigrigna youth beaded and executed by Muslims jihadist. Thousands of Tigrigna youth died in Sea to cross to Europe.

Tigrigna youth are not only betrayed by PFDJ. They been betrayed by the so-called opposition in exile, so-called opposition media, Tigrigna Eritrean religious leaders, Tigrigna cultural elite, so-called Eritrean human right groups, Tigrigna educated class etc.

There is no a single Eritrean Muslim youth that kidnapped and sold, his organs harvested, gang raped, executed and beheaded by PFDJ gangs, Egyptian or Sundance army and Jihadist. There are significant Eritrean Muslims Jihadist members of ISIS, Al-shebab, Al-Queda in Sudan, Libya, Egypt Sanai, Iraqi, Syria etc. There hundreds of thousands Eritrean Salafist in Eritrean and world who want to enslave us, rape us, beheading us etc because they hate our identity and way of life. There are tens of thousands Eritrean Muslims who are Members of Muslim Brotherhood and Hizb ut-Tahrir. There many Jihadist groups in Eritrea who wanted to make Eritrea part of Islamic Caliphate. The over 80% so-called moderate real patriotic Eritrean Muslims like all EPLF/PFDJ members of central committee are Arab nationalist who wanted to make Eritrea Arab state by destroying and replacing Eritrean languages and cultures by Arab Language and culture. Every Eritrean Muslim wanted to be part of Islamic world either by Arab language, Sharia law or Jihad. There is no a single Eritrean Muslim wanted to adopt Tigrigna culture, way of life or values. Every Eritrean Muslim is proud of his religion, tribe and clan. Every Eritrean Muslim believe that its religion, way of life and culture is superior to Tigrigna religion, way of life and culture.

Thanks to PFDJ and Tigrigna elites ideology only Eritrean Tigrigna are in deep identity crisis and ignorance. Like always, we are not here together. These tragedies and humiliations are happening only to Tigrigna youth, women and people.  But  the so-called opposition in exile, so-called opposition media, Tigrigna Eritrean religious leaders, Tigrigna cultural elite, Tigrigna educated class reported it as these tragedies are affecting the nine Eritrean ethnics equally. The so-called opposition in exile, so-called opposition media, Tigrigna Eritrean religious leaders, Tigrigna cultural elite, Tigrigna educated class number one concern is power not justice. Like PFDJ, the exiled elite number one are Tigrigna nationalist that what they called the sub-nationalist or anti- national unity.  That’s why instead telling the truth as it is and stand up for justice that like PFDJ they urged us and bullied us to be united with our Muslim rapists, kidnappers, torturers, executors, smugglers etc.

If there is effective and efficient national institutions, freedom, justice, rule of law, accountability and transparent there will be peace, stability and diversity. No one can explain what mean is national unity in terms of political science or in national terms  in Eritrea case because we are not one nation/ethnic with common identity, history, value system and destiny. Just we are different nations/ethnics with different identity, loyalty, history, value system and destiny that happen to be living in one country. Eritrea is a nation-state of many nations. You urge national unity only within one nation. According all English dictionaries there is no difference of definition and meaning between ethnic and nation what we call ብሔረ in Ge’ez or ሃገረ in Tigrigna languages. But in PFDJ and Tigrigna elites ideology that ethnic and nation or ብሔረ in Ge’ez or ሃገረ have different definitions and meanings. According PFDJ and Tigrigna elites ethnic/ብሔረ is one people who has the same language, identity, history, traditions and value system while nation/ሃገረ is one people and country who have one identity and  history but different religion, values, traditions and languages and defined geographical territory. It impossible to understand PFDJ and Tigrigna elites meaning and definition of nation.

It is ridicules to call national unity, if that unity is among different nations. I don’t know how to translate country, state and nation/ethnic to Tigrigna words but they have very different meaning and definitions in English. But in PFDJ and Tigrigna elite ideology country, state and nation/ethnic have the same meaning and definitions.  Tigrigna and Muslim Eritreans don’t trust each other because they have different identity, history, loyalty, value system and destiny. Eritrea Tigrigna and Muslim peoples have different irreconcilable idea and vision of Eritrea. How can we have national unity without trust. Eritrean Muslim Diaspora are part of the Muslim Diaspora and are very active in all Muslims causes. Eritrean Tigrigna and Muslim Diaspora have no relationship or contact specially the second generation. We don’t need national unity with Eritrean Muslims because it is irrational idea, impossible to achieve and it is not very necessary.

There is no free national unity or oneness in multination nation-state like Eritrea. They have to narrow the socioeconomic difference between the ethnics if you wanted to be one or united. PFDJ is trying to make Eritrean nine ethnics by enslaving and by taxing heavily the Tigrigna people. If the exiled opposition wanted national unity or oneness among the nine ethnics should tell us how they will fund to narrow the socioeconomic difference between the nine ethnics. Enslaving and heavy taxing to create oneness will not work anymore in Eritrea because it is not fair and practical. If Eritrea has African kind democracy the Tigrigna will be very rich and the Muslim tribes and clans will be left to malaria, hunger, TB etc. The identity and socioeconomic gap between the Tigrigna and Muslim tribes and clans will be the biggest in the world.

Most the exiled opposition are idiots who doesn’t understand what they are talking about. Few exiled opposition still wanted to continue PFDJ social engineering to create Eritrean national cultural identity, national unity or oneness among nine Eritrean ethnics by being less painful authoritarian dictators. The truth is trying to create Eritrean cultural national identity is a very dangerous experiment and unpractical that get us to the systematic ethnic cleansing of Tigrigna people. Our exiled corrupt oppositions and the so-called educated class tells us the problem is Isaias Afewerki. Isaias Afewerki is only a symptom of the problem. Our problem is the idea of creating so-called Eritrean national cultural identity, Eritrean national unity or Eritrea oneness among the nine Eritrean ethnics.                 

It is easy and practical to make Eritrea nation-state of Tigrigna/Ge’ez people, prosperous, democratic. Then it will be very easy to narrow the socioeconomic gap between the homogenous Tigrigna and the Muslim tribes and clans and treat them with dignity and fairness as protected minority.    Eritrean Muslims don’t trust Tigrigna but our elites are trying to forced us to trust Muslims by ignoring reason, history and reality. There will be no national unity without trust. We need fair, honest and transparent legal and social contract with our Muslim citizens. But this legal and social contract will be honoured only when Eritrea became nation-state of Tigrigna people.

Tigrigna people will be massacred and eliminated when Eritrean Muslims became majority and have political power over Tigrigna people. There is no minority group in the world Muslim majority countries who are not persecuted, discriminated, raped, humiliated and most of the time massacred. Eritrean Muslims will never be the first Muslim majority who will treat their minority with respect and equal rights.   What we need to overthrow PFDJ and to make Eritrea’s to be peaceful, stable, very prosperous, fair and proud is the unity of Eritrean Tigrigna people and Tigray people because we are one nation with the same identity, history, value system and destiny , and we need strategic relationship with Israel because we have common value system and strategic interests.

 

We defeated Ethiopia because we united with Tigray people and TPLF, not because we united with Eritrean Muslims or ELF. There was no national unity in our armed struggle between Tigrigna and Muslims. There was bloody war between Tigriga forces and Arab Muslims. The war between EPLF and ELF was the war between Tigrigna nationalism and Arab nationalism. There was no civil war between forces that have common identity, history, value system and destiny. Despite the entire Arab and Muslim countries support we defeated Eritrean Muslims and we impose law and order.  But our elite tells us that they impose law and order because of our amazing national unity. The only reason Eritrea is peaceful and stable is because we defeated Eritrean Muslims.  Kunama, Tigre speaking Beja ቤንዓምር, Muslim Bilen ቢሌን, Afar etc fought against us until 24 May 1991.

Tigrigna EDF officers were shocked by their exclusion in the January 2013 EDF Muslim only military coup d’etat attempt. These proves  EPLF Tigrigna and Muslim fighter who serve in one army for over 40 years couldn’t create and build trust.    Now all the so-called Eritrean Muslim oppositions are struggling to impose Sharia law and Arab language as Eritrean national language. And all the so-called Eritrean Tigrigna opposition are struggling for democracy, constitution, election, free press etc. There is no common cause between the so-called exiled opposition. No one can united without common cause. Don’t trust me, just please read their literature.

We are the only ancient nation and civilization in Middle East, North Africa and North East Africa who never concurred by Islam/Arab. We sustained our identity, history, value system and traditions for over 3000 years because we fought as one people against Amhara, Turkey, Sudan, Egypt, Italia etc. There is no war that we fought without Tigray people in our 3000 years history. Even EPLF and TPLF army fought against ELF together as one army to rid-off ELF from our land.

PFDJ use national unity to instil fear and as pretext to ethnically cleansing Tigrigna people. According PFDJ anyone who is antinational unity or any Tigrigna tradition and believe system that is anti-Eritrean national unity has to be eliminated. Sadly all Tigrigna traditions and believe systems are anti-Eritrean national unity by nature.

Now our exiled  Tigrigna Eritrean religious leaders, Tigrigna cultural elite, Tigrigna educated class telling us that these tragedies are affecting the nine Eritrean ethnics equally. Now the so-called opposition in exile, so-called opposition media, Tigrigna Eritrean religious leaders, Tigrigna cultural elite, Tigrigna educated class are using national unity to silence and instil fear on our people. Our exile elites are partners with PFDJ on ethnically cleansing Tigrigna people.

There overwhelming evidences that prove Muslim Eritrean living standard has improved dramatically in health, education, infrastructure, culture etc at the expenses of Tigrigna people of Eritrea. PFDJ conduct permanent regular round up of Tigrigna’s old, young and women. But there is no regular round up of Muslims and no forced national military service for Muslim women’s. Hundreds of thousands Muslim Beja, Tigre and Rashida  has emigrated from Sudan to Eritrea since independence. In 1991 child mortality rate in lowland was 600 out 1000. Today it only 50 out of 1000. From 2005-2010 Eritrea has 7th highest population growth in the world. All these population growth are growth of Muslim population in Eritrea.

In 1992 Tigrigna’s mothers give birth to 5 children averagely and four of them will grow to become adult. In 2013 Tigrigna mother had only 2.5 children. In 1992 Muslim women from lowland averagely use to have 3 children and only one of them grow became adult. Today Muslim women is averagely has seven children and five of them became adults. They get free health care and education by money and wealth taken away from Tigrigna people through taxes, free labour and talents. PFDJ was doing this for 25 years and this is deliberate systematic ethnic cleansing.

There overwhelming evidence that prove the indigenous Tigrigna people are losing their land by systematic ethnic cleansing campaign.

The great civilizations of our region like Egypt, Syria, Yemen etc concurred by Arabs and they lost their identity and became Arab nations. Thanks for our forefathers sacrifices we were the only ancient civilization unconquered by Muslim Arabs, Middle East Christians and European missionaries.

Thanks to the Italian created corrupt ruling class now for first time our ancient ancestral land is concurring by Arab Muslims. Christians were 84% its Lebanon population in 1926. In 2012 they were only 40.4%. What’s happening to Lebanon Christian is happening to the Tigrigna people of Eritrea.

The Tigrigna ruling class who are in power, opposition or exiles teach, urges, pressure us and bully us to give our land, abandon our identity, serve the Muslims forever etc for sake of Eritrean national unity. They scare us if we didn’t do unity with the Muslims there will be a civil war like Syria, Somalia, Iraqi etc. The truth is there will be no civil war in Eritrea even if the Tigrigna oppressed and marginalized very badly the Eritrean Muslim tribes and clans because they don’t have the capacity to fight or to resist violently.

Eritrean tribes and clans are part of the Eastern Sudan Bejas tribes, Ethiopia Afar and Amhara region (Agew Awi Zone) and Djibouti’s tribes and clans. Those tribes and clans are a forgotten tribes and clans In East Sudan, Ethiopia and Djibouti and they never demand services or rights from their government in Khartoum and Addis Ababa despite PFDJ efforts in the last 40 years to armed them.

Eritrean immigrant Muslims couldn’t make a civil war or expel the indigenous Tigrigna people. Without Tigrigna people Eritrean tribes and clans will die and suffer by Malaria, TB, hunger etc like they are dying and suffering now in East of Sudan, Ethiopia Afar region and Djibouti. Eritrean tribes and clans hate each other than they hate the Tigrigna. The Arab countries they tried to support Eritrean tribes and clans against Tigrigna in 1950s-60s,70s and 80s didn’t exist anymore and they will never come back again. Sria, Iraqi, Yemen, Libya etc are gone forever. Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia etc are teetering.

Thanks to the rise of Iran and Shea Muslims movement in Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia etc the Gulf monarch states calculations and interested has changed in Eritrea. The spreading or protecting Islam or Arab language is not Gulf monarch states priority or strategic interests in Eritrea anymore. Gulf monarch states strategic interests in Eritrea is to use Eritrea militarily, politically and diplomatically to fight Iran and Shea Muslims movement in Middle East.

Today the so-called Eritrean Muslim oppositions are financed and supported by TPLF/EPRDF government not by Arabs/Muslims. If TPLF/EPRDF stop supporting them they will die automatically because they don’t have their own will and capacity to do anything.

Eritrean Muslims are not responsible for the indigenous Tigrigna people ethnic cleansing. Eritrean Tigrigna people are ethnically cleansing from their ancient land by Tigrigna elite who want to create new Eritrean cultural identity among the 9 ethnics. This is a political project of all Eritrean Tigrigna political parties including PFDJ. If we have to save our proud civilization we had to rid off the entire parasite Italian created ruling class from our shoulders.

The ethnic cleansing of Tigrigna people special the use has made popular uprising against PFDJ rule impossible. Only the Tigrigna are who have very high aspiration and expectation, and they paid heavy price for their aspiration and expectation to materialize.

The Eritrean tribes and clans have no reason to resist PFDJ because they are getting more than what they paid for and expected.

TPLF/EPRDF has 90 million youth unemployed and under-employed with aces to social media, Oromo Media Network (MON), Ethiopia Satellite Television and Radio (ESAT) with scarce jobs, very limited opportunities and no resources and massive corruptions.

While PFDJ can relax and focus 100% in destabilizing and removing TPLF/EPRDF government without worrying popular uprising. Then after TPLF/EPRDF government gone that it will ethnically cleanse Tigray people in order to create new one Eritrean and one Ethiopia national cultural identity by destroying many national identities if it is not stopped now.
