There is a fabricated history that embraced as conventional wisdom in today’s Eritrea and Tigray elite that Islam enter to Aga’azian peacefully while the profit of Islam Mohamad was alive in 7th century. The fact is Islam entered to Aga’azian through violent jihadist invasion/war of that conducted by Ahmed Gragn, Ottoman Turkey, Sudan, and Egypt Islamic army. There is no a single evidence that prove there was religion of Islam in Aga’azian before 16 century. Till this day the Jeberti, the ሳሕል Semitic/Tigre and ሰምሃር Semitic/Tigre are the only followers of Islam from Ge’ez people.

The Jeberti converted to Islam in 16 century by Ahmed Gragn, the Semhar Tigre by Turkey (16-19 century) the Semitic Tigre of Sahl ሳሕል by Egypt (1850-1880) jihadist army. Nobody know when and how the Tigre speaking Beja, Afar, Saho and Bilen ethnic tribes who settled in Eritrea and Tigray accepted or converted to Islam and these tribes they don’t claim they are the descendent of the Quranic Abyssinian.  When the Jihadist Ahmed Gragn by the helped of Ottoman Turkey invaded Aga’azian in 1529 -1542 in-order to convert us to Islam by force 75% of its soldiers were Amhara. Ahmed Gragn was very close to erasing the Ge’ez civilization completely if it wasn’t the help of Portugal army and our sacrifices.

The Ahmed Gragn/Amhara, Portuguese Catholics/Amhara and Ottoman Turkey war were about ethnic and religious cleansing. It destroyed communities, villages, temples, ancient books, monasteries etc. It was devastating for Aga’azian economically, culturally, politically and militarily. While the Mohamad Gragn/Amhara and Portuguese Catholics/Amhara war was waged from the South through the Amhara land in 1517 Ottoman Turkey was waging war since 1517 to occupy the north-eastern part of modern –day Eritrea extending from Massawa to Swakin in the Sudan. They had even conquered Midri-Bahri province of Aga’azian and occupied it the last quarter of the sixteen century. Nevertheless, the Turks were in firm control of the coastal areas for three hundred years until the advent of Italian colonialism.

Isaias Afewerki had only one objective that is to finish what the Italian and Menelik II started in 1890 that is to create an Eritrean national cultural identity and strength Ethiopian/Amhara cultural national identity in order to make sure the complete liquidation of Aga’azian.

There is no a single reliable data evidence that proves there are fifty-fifty Islam and Christian, Ge’ez and Arab culture, homogenous and tribal/clannish people, farmers and nomad’s etc in that country created by an Italian called Eritrea. There are mountains of evidence and facts that prove 90% of Eritreans are Ge’ez people and 75-80% of them are Ge’ez Orit-Orthodox Christians. There are mountains of evidence and facts that prove the rulers of Eritrea from Italian to PFDJ have an active aggressive policy to depress and minimize the Ge’ez people demographics in Eritrea and to increase non Ge’ez Muslims ethnics from Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia. While immigrants Muslim from Sudan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia encouraged to emigrate and allowed to settle in Eritrea Ge’ez/Tigrinya Ge’ez Orit-Orthodox Christians from Tigray had been deported and denied systematically by Italians, British, Amhara/Ethiopia and PFDJ through outright deportation and by dehumanization Tigrays to create mistrust between Eritrean and Tigray Ge’ez/Tigrinya deliberately for the last 120 years.  Just 150 years ago in the rule of Emperor Yohannes IV there was no ethnics called Beja (Ben-Amer/Tigre speaking Beja and Hidared), Rashiyda, Saho, and Jeberti in today Eritrea. These four ethnics represent about 75% of today’s Eritrean Muslim population. There are mountains of evidence and facts that prove Eritrean border with Sudan were existed before the Italians. Kufit that where the Jihadist army of Mahdi/Sudan annihilated by Alula Aba Nega led Aga’azian army in September 23, 1885 is almost exactly in today border line between Eritrea and Sudan. Modern Sudan and Eritrea borders were ancient borders between Beja’s and Agaiazian before the British and Italians created Sudan and Eritrea.

There are mountains of evidence that prove ባርካ, ሳሕል, ጋሽ, ሰንሒት or know today as Western lowland መታሕት was inhabited and used by Ge’ez people. There are mountains of evidence that prove Ge’ez (Tigrigna/Semitic Tigre ethnics) people are the only indigenous in today Eritrea. Except Ge’ez people (Tigrigna/Semitic Tigre ethnics) no ethnic can prove with hard evidence its historical connection to today’s Eritrea. There two different Tigre that are Beja’s who speak Tigre and Semitic Tigre.

ባርካ, ሳሕል, ጋሽ, ሰንሒት or know today as low land መታሕት was full of Tigrigna land In 1840 the advancing Egyptian expedition founded Kassala as the capital of the Taka province in Sudan. From Kassala Egyptian army organized many raids against Aga’azian to make Aga’azian Islamic and Arab state to make Nile River Islamic and Arabic river and make Red Sea an Islamic and Arab Sea. In 1865 Turkey handed over the administration of Massawa and other tributary enclaves to the Egyptians. Egypt had intensified its attack from Sudan and Massawa with the help of many European and American mercenaries to advance its Arabization and Islamization project of Aga’azian. That is the reason our people retreated from ባርካ, ሳሕል, ጋሽ, ሰንሒት   to today’s Tigray and Eritrea maintains/high lands to defend itself.  ባርካ, ሳሕል, ጋሽ and ሰንሒት is historical and legitimate land of Ge’ez people.
