Cultural Renaissance
If we want to survive, be very competitive and prosper as Ge’ez people and nation we have to adopt the doctrine of
A,-Reserving our ancient Culture and Identity means family, faith, vocation, and community. B,-Have resilient Economy means jobs, opportunity and prosperity
C,-Have a superior Army means pride, security and peace
D,-Have liberal democracy means freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom of want and freedom from fear.
Our culture and value is under serious threat and our youth is in deep cultural crisis as a result of a sense of identity and sense of belonging is extremely low more than any time in our entire history. Our youth they became an easy market and target for the expansionist ideology of American evangelicalism and sub-culture, expansionist European Catholicism and liberalism and the expansionist Wahhabist/Salafist tribal Arab ideology because of-
1, the PFDJ government misguided policy Universalism, internationalism and multiculturalism that come from greediness of the Eritrean ruling class desire to be in charge forever to protect its privileges, overstated delusional idealism, miscalculation and wrong analysis and from the European Catholics and protestant view point of our Ge’ez culture hate they have and on the origin of our Ge’ez identity. The systematically dehumanization and marginalization of our Ge’ez culture by ERTV and other government and so-called opposition media outlets, wrongheaded cadres, feminists etc, lack of vision and leadership in culture and history. Isaias Afewerki and his cronies has defined our national identity by so-called nine ethnic groups not by our Ge’ez history and values that make us who we are.
2, The selfish and self cantered western culture and values that coming through western cultural and intelligence institutions like NGO, media, corrupt commercialized western churches through their Eritrean agents and ERTV.
3, From the backward Salafi-Wahhabism and Arab nationalism that are coming through Arabs cultural and intelligence institutions like media, religion, their Eritrean agents and ERTV.
To Tackle This Threat We Will
1, Geez culture will be Eritrea’s official national culture. Tigrigna/Tigre will be Eritrean national language.
2, We will use Geez numerals not Latin numerals.
3 We will promote traditional Eritrean Ge’ez names.
4, We will write Ge’ez 3000 year history
5, We will incorporate all our values and ethics in our national curriculum and media work.
6, Teaching and practicing Ge’ez manner and gesture will be mandatory in private and government school curriculum and work place.
7, Government will finance Eritrean Orthodox Church and Eritrean Islamic religion (mufti)
8, We will promote entrepreneurship culture to make Eritrea a country of enterprises and innovations.
9, We will promote our entrepreneurial culture
10, We will promote our Ge’ez military culture.
11, We will promote our heroes by teaching their history, by erecting monuments, by printing their picture in our bills and coins (money) by naming our institutions, streets etc after them.
12, Mass service on Saturday and Sunday and major Orthodox Church holidays will air by mass media.
13, We will support and protect the ethnic minority culture.
14, Prostitution will be illegal.
15 We will ban promotion of alcohol, cigarette, and pork in our media.
16 We will ban by law all western sub-cultural products that undermine our values, culture and ethics.
