Our Country Name
There are two kind countries in the world that are those who manufactured artificial by colonialist and those created by long organic high level civilization and internal evolution. Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan and all African countries except Egypt they are artificially created countries. The name of these artificially created countries had given to them by their masters. But Aga’azian is created as a country by long organic high level civilization and internal evolution. When Aga’azian was divided in to Tigray and Eritrea by Amhara/Ethiopia and Italian it had own indigenous value system, government, army, court system. Italia unification as one country happened in 1871.
Italians called their country Italia and their language Italian. The English people called their country England and their language English. The Danes called their country Denmark and their language Danish because they are indigenous people in their land and they develop their national cultural identity through long organic high level civilization and internal evolution. At the same time when Italia, England, Denmark etc are becoming modern centralized countries we were (Aga’azian) in the same process and evolution to become a modern centralized country. We were Aga’azians our language was Ge’ez and the name of our national cultural identity was Aga’azian.
The Tigrigna as our language and Tigray as our national name developed only in the last 800 years but Ge’ez as our language and Aga’azian as our national name developed before 2500 years. Tigrigna language doesn’t create its own alphabets and steel Ge’ez our language that we are using only in church.
After thousands of years of organic high level civilization and internal evolution Aga’azian was maturing to be a modern country under the leadership of Emperor Yohaness IV. But it divided in two to create to artificial countries by the conspiracy of Amhara, Italians and Catholics.
There is nothing more humiliating than to be named by our foreign masters. The name of Eritrea has given to our country by Italians/Catholics because it is Catholic and Western/Greek language and civilization name. The old testament or Orit bible is written by Hebrew while the new testament written in Geek language. The catholics fought and conspired for five centuries to change Aga’azian from the old testament or Orit bible country to only new testament country. The name of Eritrea is well researched name that its intention is to cut us off from our Ge’ez history and identity.
The name of Eritrea is given to us to humiliate us, corrupt us and to cut us off from our history and identity. Before the Italian occupation we had families, community, freedom, social justice, protections, safety nets, and the rule of laws. Aga’azian gave us love, trust, joy, happiness and dignity.
Since the creation of Eritrea we have lost our families, community, freedom, social justice, protections, safety nets, and the rule of laws, our love, our trust, our joy, our happiness and our dignity. We became a country and society that produces orphans, widows, widowers, refugees, disables and destitute. Eritrea changed us into slaves. There’s no pride in being a slave and miserable.
The understanding of the mass our revolution was about to bring back and restore our families, our brining communities, our freedom, our social justice, our protections, our safety nets, and the rule of laws, our love, our trust, our joy, our happiness and our dignity that was existed before Italians Eritrea but for our elite it was about sustaining what the Italian, Amhara and Catholics started that is slavery, humiliation, ignorance, corruption and poverty.
Now our movement is not only about to bring back and restore our families, our community, our freedom, our social justice, our protections, our safety nets, and the rule of laws, our love, our trust, our joy, our happiness and our dignity. It is about reversing what the Italian, Amhara, Catholics and PFDJ did that reverses our country name from ሃገረ ኤርትራ to ዘ ብሔረ አግኣዚንያ in Ge’ez or ሃገረ አግኣዚይን in Tigringna and we will have new national flags, national anthem and national emblem and currency names that reflect our history, identity and values.
